Brent Henry

Brent is an ecologist with extensive experience working as a consultant on a variety of projects, including terrestrial surveys, stream assessments, wetland delineations, fauna surveys, and endangered species management and monitoring. Brent leads the Wildlands bat team and is a Department of Conservation-approved bat ecologist certified for ‘High-risk activities – roost felling’ and bat handling and trapping competencies. He also has experience working in and around freshwater environments and is an expert in the application of the wetland delineation protocols. He has led the delineation of wetlands across numerous projects and has a strong understanding of the statutory environment regarding the protection of wetlands and streams (NPS-FM and NES-FW).
