Florence Kelly

Florence is an experienced ecologist and herpetologist specialising in lizard management, with extensive experience in lizard salvage, habitat enhancement, relocation, and translocation programmes. Florence is also adept at botany, ecological surveys, effects assessments, and the development and implementation of ecological management plans, pest plant, and pest animal management plans. Florence has a Master of Science in Ecology and Biodiversity, with her research looking into colour change in gecko as an avian defence. Outside of work, she is an elected council member for the Society for Research on Amphibians and Reptiles in New Zealand and enjoys undertaking lizard research.
