Leigh Roderick

Ecologist

Christchurch

Leigh is an ecologist with a strong conservation background and specialist experience in threatened plant and fauna monitoring. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Ecology from Massey University and has worked extensively across Aotearoa New Zealand’s indigenous habitats and ecosystems. Her expertise includes vegetation plots, transects, browse monitoring, myrtle rust surveillance, invasive plant surveys, mammal tracking, fauna monitoring and telemetry. Leigh also has strong GIS and vegetation mapping skills, including aerial and drone surveys, and extensive experience planning and safely leading fieldwork in remote and challenging environments.
