Lucian Funnell

Lucian Funnell holds an MSc in Ecology from the University of Otago and is primarily a freshwater ecologist, with experience in freshwater fish and macroinvertebrate monitoring, stream habitat assessments, and eDNA sampling. He has expertise in assessing the ecological effects of development projects on freshwater environments, preparing technical reports, and developing practical solutions to mitigate adverse effects. Lucian also works closely with the herpetology team and has experience in lizard monitoring and handling, as well as preparing Lizard Management Plans.
