Dr Nyree Fea

Dr Nyree Fea is a senior ecologist with extensive experience in environmental assessment, specifically population ecology, ecological monitoring and restoration. Her expertise includes vegetation and fauna surveys, covering forest plots, wetland delineation, birds, bats, rodents, possums, seals, lizards, and invertebrates. Nyree is highly skilled in statistical analysis, biodiversity accounting models and technical reporting and has published five international peer-reviewed journal articles. She undertakes a diverse range of ecological projects and provides ecological assessments, management plans, and specialist technical advice. Nyree often undertakes ecological review work, including fast track consents. Her PhD research investigated indigenous bird responses to mammal control.
