Richard Storey is a freshwater ecologist with extensive experience researching the ecology of lakes, wetlands, and streams, and applying ecological knowledge to understand, monitor, mitigate, and reverse the impacts of human activities on freshwater environments. He has also worked extensively with community groups and landowners to monitor aquatic life and water quality.
Richard’s current work includes assessing the ecological effects of wind and solar farms, forestry operations, subdivisions, and highways on streams, as well as analysing complex datasets and designing freshwater monitoring programmes. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto, Canada.
