Sam Leeves

Sam manages and coordinates several large and complex restoration implementation contracts, including the Auckland Council Ecological Restoration Contract and our restoration work for the Tupuna Maunga Authority. He has extensive experience in ecological restoration, pest plant management and project delivery. He manages several large field teams and multiple contracts, with expertise in operational planning, staff training, budgeting, quality assurance, compliance, scheduling and client liaison. With more than 20 years in the industry, his experience includes containment species management, pest animal control and restoration of high value and high-profile reserves. Sam has also delivered community-led restoration projects, assisting with restoration and community plantings. He combines strong practical field knowledge with effective project and contract management skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality ecological outcomes safely, efficiently and to programme.
