Sarah Beadel

Sarah is the founder of Wildland Consultants and is currently the chairperson of the Board of Directors. She has over 40 years’ experience working as an ecologist and botanist specialising in ecological assessment, vegetation surveys and mapping, ecological restoration and the management of natural areas. Sarah has worked extensively across Aotearoa New Zealand and a wide range of habitats, including dunes, wetlands, geothermal and montane environments, on both public and private land. She has led numerous large-scale ecological projects, including significant restoration initiatives in the Bay of Plenty. Sarah is a committee member of the New Zealand Plant Conservation Network and President of the Rotorua Botanical Society. She has authored more than 800 botanical reports, articles and papers.
